MEDLEY, Fla. — A fire erupted Tuesday morning at the Medley storage warehouse for a popular restaurant that has multiple locations.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the fire was reported around 7:20 a.m. at a warehouse in the 8300 block of Northwest 70th Street.
Local 10’s Jolena Esperto was told the fire originated from the back of the Nando Grill building.
“First arriving units found heavy smoke coming from the rear of the warehouse,” MDFR said in an email to Local 10 News. “Firefighters gained access to the inside of the structure to locate the fire, while crews conducted ladder operations to gain access to the roof to ventilate the structure.”
First responders said the call was eventually upgraded to a second-alarm fire.
No injuries have been reported.
