WEST PARK, Fla. — A 41-year-old woman arrested over a vengeful hit-and-run crash appeared in court on Wednesday in Broward County.
A Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested Tiffany Morrison on Monday night at her home in West Park.
Morrison was driving a black 2015 Honda Accord when she crashed into a car on Monday at Southwest 46 Avenue and 25 Street, according to the BSO deputy’s arrest report.
The victim, who owns a mechanic shop, told deputies that he knew Morrison, and he owned both of the cars that were damaged in the crash, according to the arrest report.
The victim said Morrison was angry because he had loaned her the Honda Accord about six months ago, and he had asked her to return it to him, according to the report.
Morrison faced charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage, and driving with a suspended license. Her bond was $6,500.
Court records show Broward County Circuit Court Judge Marina Garcia-Wood is set to preside over the case.
