SUNRISE, Fla. — Day two of the Florida Freedom’s three-day homestand at Amerant Bank Arena is Saturday, and fans are ecstatic.
Florida, coming off a loss Friday night, is holding its head high thanks to its passionate fan base.
Head coach Paulo Crimber spoke about the importance of the crowd.
“You can feel the fan base here,” Crimber said. “They just fill you up with that great energy, and they stand behind you. They make you tall, for sure. That’s what we need, and that’s why it’s been so great and so rewarding to be in this arena—because of the fan base we have. I think it’s the best in the league.”
A Local 10 News crew was backstage when some of the riders arrived for Saturday’s game.
