OAKLAND PARK, Fla. — A driver was killed early Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Oakland Park, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they responded to the area of Northeast 38th Street and Dixie Highway shortly before 3 a.m., where they found a crashed vehicle and one person unresponsive.
They confirmed the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
BSO’s Traffic Homicide Unit is working to determine what led to the incident.
Authorities have not released the identity of the victim pending notification of next of kin.
