MIRAMAR, Fla. — Authorities in Broward County are investigating an overnight shooting.
It happened along the 3000 block of Miramar Parkway at approximately 1:50 a.m. Sunday.
According to Miramar police, officers responded to reports of a man who had been shot and located the victim inside of a home.
Upon investigation, officers determined the victim was confronted by another man who wanted his watch.
The suspect shot the victim and took off, police said.
A perimeter was established by officers but the suspect was not located and is believed to have fled the area.
Police said the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
