Pierre, 26, had a restraining order when he threw a propane tank through a window where his two children and their mother were in Lauderhill, according to police.

“I observed the propane tank on the floor in the victim’s bedroom, surrounded by shattered glass,” a Lauderhill police officer wrote in his report shortly after 2:45 a.m. on April 17, according to the arrest report.

Pierre, who was born in Fort Lauderdale, has a history of domestic violence that goes back years.

County court records also show deputies arrested Pierre after witnesses saw him threaten to kill his mother while holding a knife, a day after he had hurt her arm with a screwdriver.

About five years ago, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper arrested Pierre, then 21, and accused him of driving a Hyundai Accent at more than 130 mph with his 6-month-old son in the car.

About four years ago, Pierre was armed with a gun when he broke into a woman’s apartment, beat her up, fired at a bed in her room, and held her against her will in his apartment, records show.

Last year, deputies arrested Pierre for hurting a woman who was four months pregnant and for possession of marijuana and fentanyl packaged in baggies, records show.

Inmate records show Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies in Deerfield Beach arrested him on Sunday and correctional deputies booked him at the Broward County Main Jail in Fort Lauderdale.

Pierre appeared in bond court on Monday. He faced charges for throwing a missile into a building, a second-degree felony, and for a violation of his pre-trial release, a first-degree misdemeanor. His bond was $30,000.

Broward County Circuit Judge Susan L. Alspector is set to preside over the case.
