DAVIE, Fla. — Authorities are investigating the death of a person after they said “partially skeletonized remains” were found behind a home in Davie.
Davie police said the remains were found on Aug. 7 behind a home near the 13000 block of Southwest 40th Street. The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed.
Authorities said the medical examiner’s office is working with law enforcement to determine the person’s age and identity using scientific methods.
They said more information may be available at a later date.
No other details were immediately released.
