Firefighters investigate warehouse fire in Lauderdale Lakes

LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. — Firefighters with Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue quickly put out a blaze at a commercial warehouse Thursday morning after smoke was reported coming from the facility.

Authorities said crews were dispatched around 9:05 a.m. to the building located at 2708 NW 30th Way, where they found moderate smoke coming from a secured storage bay.

They said firefighters forced entry and launched an aggressive interior attack, bringing the fire under control within five minutes of entry.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation, authorities said.

No other details were immediately released.
