Police seek missing girl last seen in Miami Gardens

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Miami Gardens police are looking for a missing 6-year-old girl.

Jenesis Acosta is described as 3-foot-5 and about 40 pounds.

She was last seen around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. At the time, she was wearing a red polo shirt, dark blue shorts and black sneakers.

Police said she was last seen in the area of Northwest 27th Avenue and 173rd Terrace. At the time, she was in the care of her father, Janicy Acosta.

He was last seen driving a grey SUV; police said they were not sure of the make or model

It’s not clear what led up to Jenesis’ disappearance. Nevertheless, police are now asking for the public’s help in finding her.
