MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — A South Florida man has pleaded guilty to attacking a Miami Beach doctor at Mount Sinai Medical Center last year.
Ventura Perez Del Castillo admitted to body-slamming Dr. Steven Silvers during a confrontation in October, an attack that was caught on surveillance video.
The dispute was reportedly stemming from a prescription given to Perez Del Castillo’s mother.
He will serve one year in the county jail followed by two years of house arrest.
