MIAMI — A fire broke out at a popular restaurant in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood on Monday afternoon.
Smoke billowed from La Esquina de la Fama, located at 1388 SW Eighth St., after the fire broke out at around 4 p.m.
Officials said only three employees were inside at the time and nobody was hurt.
A photo shared by Miami Fire Rescue showed extensive damage to the restaurant’s ceiling.
Authorities said the cause of the fire was under investigation Monday evening.
