PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. — Shake Shack is coming to Pembroke Pines
While many restaurant goers in the area may be missing Russo’s Coal-Fired Pizza after it closed its doors this summer, there’s a new tenant getting ready to take over the spot in Cobblestone Plaza at 14910 Pines Blvd.
The “coming soon” sign was posted for the popular burger chain at the former pizza spot’s location last week.
There’s no word on when Shake Shack will begin serving ShackBurgers and crinkle cut fries.
Right now, there are Shake Shack locations at Dadeland Mall, Mary Brickell Village, The Falls, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale and Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise.
According to the company’s website, Shake Shack started as a hot dog cart in New York City 20 years ago. Several locations are now open all over the United States and across the globe.
