Child, 2 adults injured during shooting in Fort Lauderdale, police say

Detectives investigate triple-shooting in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A child and two adults were injured during a shooting on Friday night in Fort Lauderdale, police said.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue personnel responded to the crime scene along Northwest Seventh Avenue and took the three victims to the Broward Health Medical Center, police said.

Police officers used crime scene tape to block an area that included a parked sports utility vehicle with several bullet holes on the 900th block of Northwest Seventh Avenue.

The investigation also included the 600th block of Northwest Ninth Avenue and the 500th block of Northwest Seventh Avenue, according to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.
