DORAL, Fla. — A 25-year-old man is facing criminal charges and an immigration hold after he shared a married woman’s topless video in a group chat, authorities said.
According to an arrest report from the Doral Police Department, Anderson Rene Daboingraterol currently lives in Miami but is a Venezuelan citizen.
Police said the victim went to the Doral Police Department on Aug. 22 and told officers that Daboingraterol had shared an intimate video of her on a group chat.
According to the report, the victim had FaceTimed with Daboingraterol, who she referred to as a “male friend,” sometime last year and exposed her breasts to him.
She said they had occasionally flirted with each other, but never had a romantic relationship and never engaged in sexual acts together, according to the report.
The report states that on Aug. 14, the victim received a call from a friend who told her that Daboingraterol had shared the video in a group chat called “Perreo Intenso,” loosely translated as “Intense Twerking” in English, which had about 12 members in the group.
Police said the victim claimed that she did not know the FaceTime video was being screen-recorded nor did she provide consent to Daboingraterol to record the call.
According to the report, the victim said the dissemination of the video has caused extreme distress within her family and marriage.
Police said Daboingraterol was located Thursday and taken into custody.
The report states that he provided some kind of admission to detectives, however his exact statement was redacted from the publicly released report.
Daboingraterol was arrested on charges of video voyeurism, unlawful use of a communications device and sexual cyberharassment.
According to online jail records, as of Friday afternoon, he remained held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $5,500 bond for the criminal charges, along with the immigration hold.
