BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — Authorities are investigating after they said the body of a man was discovered floating in a canal in unincorporated central Broward on Saturday.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office said it received a call shortly after noon about a body spotted near the 2500 block of Northwest Sixth Street.
Deputies and members of the agency’s dive team responded and recovered the body.
They said detectives with BSO’s Homicide Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
No other details about the man were immediately released.
