DANIA BEACH, Fla. — A man was taken to the hospital early Saturday morning after he was stabbed during a robbery in Dania Beach, authorities said.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called around 5:45 a.m. to the area of Southwest 13th Street and Southwest Second Avenue.
They said deputies found the victim with a stab wound, and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue transported him to a nearby hospital. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Detectives with the agency’s Robbery Unit are investigating the circumstances of the attack.
No other details about the victim or possible suspect were immediately released.
