NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — North Miami Beach police announced three additional arrests in an ongoing murder investigation.
The victim was Melvin Victor, who police said was killed on Aug. 20 while celebrating his 30th birthday.
He was outside his apartment building on Northeast 169th Street and 20th Avenue in North Miami Beach, celebrating with friends when a hail of gunfire erupted.
Police said they arrested Jamoree Pitts several days ago, and have since confirmed the arrests of Trayquan Williams, Eileen Garcia and Antoine Leonard Eleby Jr.
Melvin had been working for the city of North Miami Beach just across the street, family members said.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting.
