MIAMI — The body of a male was found floating in the water off Coconut Grove Friday morning, authorities confirmed.
According to Miami police, the department’s Marine Patrol responded to a call shortly after 8 a.m. about a body in the water near the 3600 block of South Miami Avenue, behind Mercy Hospital.
Police said the body was pulled from the water.
Authorities identified the victim Tuesday as 65-year-old James Edward McCoy.
No other details were immediately released.
