ALEXANDRIA, Va. — A woman was fired from her job as a teacher’s assistant at the VINCI School Alexandria North in Virginia after she was accused of tying a 21-month-old student to a chair on Aug. 13.
The teacher who was supervising the assistant in the classroom allegedly did not intervene when the child was tied down to the chair for more than 20 minutes.
The school released a screengrab of the surveillance video showing when the woman allegedly used a blanket to restrain the child during lunchtime.
