This final weekend of summer will be hot and humid for South Florida with highs in the lower 90s both days and the “feels like” in the upper 90s.
Scattered showers and t’storms will be more likely in the morning hours -- leaving us with lots of sunny breaks from midday through the afternoon hours and with most late-day storms occurring well to our west by that time.
Although there’s a chance for a shower or storm for tailgaters this evening, the weather for the big game between the Canes and Gators looks warm and dry at Hard Rock Stadium for that 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
Rain chances increase by early next week before drier air arrives again toward the second half of the week. There are no tropical threats for us through the next 5-7 days. Have a great weekend!
