MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A man and two children died after a car crash on Friday in Miami-Dade County’s South Miami Heights neighborhood

A man and a child who were in a black Lexus sedan died after the crash on the eastbound lanes of Quail Roost Drive at Southwest 117 Avenue, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel flew a child who was injured in a gray GMC sports utility vehicle to the HCA Florida Kendall Hospital.

The child later died at the hospital, according to FHP. The GMC had rear-end damage, and the black Lexus faced west on the eastbound lanes.
