MIAMI — Police officers were negotiating with a person who refused to get out of a car on Monday morning in Miami’s Flagami neighborhood.

According to the Miami Police Department, the “barricaded subject” was “possibly armed.”

The SUV’s doors were open, and a shirtless man was lying face up in the back seat.

Police officers closed the intersection at Northwest 42 Avenue and 11 Street and the area near the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Miami Airport South.
