MIAMI — Local 10 will conduct a series of live interviews this month with candidates running for Miami mayor, giving viewers a chance to hear directly from those seeking to lead the city.
At the time of publishing, 12 of the 13 candidates have agreed to interviews, while Miami Commissioner and former Mayor Joe Carollo has yet to confirm his participation.
The schedule of confirmed interviews is as follows:
- Oct. 6: Elijah John Bowdre
- Oct. 7: Alex Diaz de la Portilla, former city commissioner
- Oct. 8: Ken Russell, former city commissioner
- Oct. 9: Xavier Suarez, former mayor and county commissioner
- Oct. 10: Michael Hepburn
- Oct. 13: Christian E. Cevallos
- Oct. 14: Emilio Gonzalez, former city manager
- Oct. 15: Kenneth DeSantis
- Oct. 16: Alyssa Crocker
- Oct. 20: June Savage
- Oct. 21: Laura Anderson
- Oct. 27: Eileen Higgins, county commissioner
Each candidate will have an opportunity to discuss their priorities for the city, address issues affecting Miami residents, and outline their vision for the future.
