MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Detectives were working to identify a person found dead on Monday morning in a Miami Beach waterway.
Police officers responded shortly after 9 a.m. to the waterway along Collins Avenue near the Eden Roc, at 4525 Collins Ave.
The person was floating face down, police said. Miami Beach Fire Rescue personnel pronounced the person dead.
Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477 to remain anonymous.
