POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — A man was hospitalized after a stabbing early Sunday in Pompano Beach, authorities said.

Broward County Regional Communications received a call around 6 a.m. reporting a stabbing near the 500 block of Southwest 12th Avenue.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded and found a man with a stab wound. Paramedics took him to a local hospital, where his injuries were considered not life-threatening.

According to preliminary information, two men were arguing over money when one stabbed the other. BSO’s Violent Crimes and Crime Scene units are investigating.
