HOMESTEAD, Fla. — Two people suffered stab wounds on Thursday near the Wittkop Park in Homestead, police said.
Homestead police officers and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel responded to the area of Northwest Eighth Street and Fourth Avenue.
The attacker fled, according to Officer Oscar Roque, a spokesman for the Homestead Police Department.
“A possible suspect” was in custody, Roque later wrote in a statement, adding that the victims’ condition was stable.
Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477 to remain anonymous.
