Here are the Catholic churches planning a bilingual Christmas midnight mass in Miami-Dade

Some Catholic Latin Americans to mark ‘Misa De Gallo’ at midnight

Catholics who are loyal to tradition may plan to attend a Christmas midnight mass, also known in Spanish as the “Misa De Gallo,” in Miami-Dade County.

The celebration at the Church of the Little Flower, at 2711 Indian Mound Trail in Coral Gables, is set to begin with a special musical prelude at 11:30 p.m.

The Christmas mass in English and Spanish at Saint Francis De Sales Church, at 600 Lenox Ave. in South Beach, and at St. Patrick, at 3716 Garden Ave. in Miami Beach, starts at midnight.

The Notre-Dame d’Haiti Catholic Church, at 110 NE 62 St. in Miami’s Little Haiti, will be celebrating a midnight mass in English and Haitian Creole, and the church plans to live-stream it here.

Archbishop Thomas Wenski plans to celebrate the Solemn Christmas Eve Mass at 10 p.m. at The Cathedral of St. Mary, at 7525 NW 2 Ave., in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood, where there are programs in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
