MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A woman was rushed to a hospital Wednesday after she was shot in northwest Miami-Dade, authorities confirmed.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the shooting was reported in the 200 block of Northwest 82nd Terrace.
Deputies arrived at the scene and found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
A Miami-Dade Fire Rescue unit then transported her to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition.
Deputies said the shooter is known to the victim, however they did not immediately disclose the relationship between the two or say whether the shooter was arrested.
