MIRAMAR, Fla. — A detective has been searching for a burglar who recently stole mostly smokes in Miramar.

The burglar with a backpack broke into a Kiwik Stop convenience store early Thursday morning near State Road Seven and South University Drive.

Surveillance video shows the burglar at 3 a.m. near Tarpon Drive and Indigo Street.

The detective asked anyone with information about the burglar to contact him at 954-602-4046 or via e-mail at jbowerbank@miramarpd.org.
