FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — One person was injured during a police-involved shooting on Saturday in Fort Lauderdale.
Fire rescue personnel and police officers responded to 900 Chateau Park Drive.
According to Detective Kerri Hagerty, a spokeswoman for the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, a police officer shot a suspect.
“There is no threat to the public at this time,” Hagerty wrote in a statement, adding that the suspect had suffered “life-threatening injuries.”
Police officers were not injured, according to Hagerty.
