Fitness influencer faces charges in Broward dating violence case, records show

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. — A fitness influencer faced charges on Thursday in Broward County after police officers arrested him for dating violence in Hallandale Beach, records show.

Police officers arrested Westley Watson on Wednesday. He was booked at the Broward County Main Jail in Fort Lauderdale and appeared in bond court.

A judge ordered Watson, 43, to stay away from the victim in the case, to avoid drugs and alcohol, and to stay away from weapons or ammunition.

Watson faced five charges: Robbery by sudden snatching, felony battery, aggravated assault with intent to commit felony, false imprisonment, and hindering, delaying, or preventing the communication to a law enforcement officer. His bond was $115,000.
