Man in search of a job in Broward ends up in handcuffs

SUNRISE, Fla. — A 28-year-old man in search of a job in Broward County was so enraged when he couldn’t talk to a fast-food restaurant’s manager that he ended up in handcuffs, according to a police arrest report.

On Monday, Ralph Estinord, of Lauderhill, stopped at the Burger King in the Sawgrass Mall’s food court, and he got mad at a woman who was working there, according to the police report.

During a back-and-forth exchange, Estinord threw a metal container used for straws at the woman’s face, and this caused her tooth to fall out and a laceration on her lip, according to police.

Police officers arrested Estinord on Monday afternoon in Sunrise, and he faced a charge of aggravated assault.
