HOMESTEAD, Fla. — Miami Dade Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives were investigating a person’s death on Monday in Homestead.

Officer Oscar Roque, a spokesman for the Homestead Police Department, reported police officers first responded to South Homestead Boulevard.

The Homestead police officers found “a diseased person in the 200blk of S Homestead Blvd.,” Roque wrote in a statement, adding M-DSO detectives later took over the investigation.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477 to remain anonymous.
