Red Lobster has a new owner

The cheddar bay biscuits are here to stay. After months in the court, Red Lobster has a new owner.

According to court documents filed on Monday, RL Purchaser LLC, made up of the seafood chain’s current lenders, proposed a $376 million bid.

The financial proceedings for the sale of the restaurant group began in April to ease financial pressure.

Red Lobster said that it had more than $1 billion in debt and closed some locations of its nearly 600 restaurants this summer.

17 of the restaurants in Florida closed their doors in June, including locations in Orlando and Jacksonville.

The Red Lobster in Hialeah quietly closed its doors in May. The kitchen equipment for the location was even put up for auction on an online restaurant liquidator listing Hialeah on its site.

The following locations in Miami-Dade, Broward and West Palm Beach locations remain open:

-1695 NW 87th Avenue, Doral

- 2000 University Dr., Coral Springs

- 5950 N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale

-2900 Oakwood Blvd., Hollywood

-296 N University Drive, Pembroke Pines

-803 S. University Drive, Plantation

- 2201 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., West Palm Beach
