WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance discredited reports that there was going to be an official meeting related to a meeting with Jeffrey Epstein’s ex-girlfriend.

CNN reported the meeting was supposed to be on Wednesday evening at Vance’s home to discuss Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche’s meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell.

“I don’t know,” Trump said before turning to Vance and adding, “I could ask you that question.”

Vance said he saw the report and described it as fake news.

“We are not meeting to talk about the Epstein situation, and I think the reporter who reported it needs to get better sources,” Vance said.

Trump said he has yet to be briefed on the meeting between Blanche and Maxwell, a convicted felon serving 20 years in prison for sex trafficking.
