Gaetz sells $525+ videos on Cameo app

MIAMI — Matt Gaetz joined Cameo, a video-sharing site that allows celebrities to sell personalized messages, on Friday, and he had eight five-star reviews by Saturday afternoon.

For $525 or more, Cameo users can get a personalized pep talk, a happy birthday wish, or other videos featuring the former 42-year-old Florida Republican Congressman. His biography on the page: “I served in Congress. Trump nominated me to be US Attorney General (that didn’t work out). Once I fired the House Speaker.”

Gaetz, who won re-election, resigned from Congress after President-elect Donald Trump’s nomination. He later withdrew his controversial nomination saying an ethics report on sexual misconduct allegations was becoming a “distraction.” Trump nominated Pam Bondi, former Florida attorney general.

Gaetz told podcast host Charlie Kirk on Friday that he did not intend to join the 119th Congress.

“I’m still going to be in the fight, but it’s going to be from a new perch,” he told Kirk.
