Britain’s King Charles III knighted David Beckham on Tuesday at Windsor Castle.

The president and co-owner of Inter Miami CF wore a tailcoat designed by Victoria Beckham to the investiture ceremony.

“To receive an honor like this, of a knight, is beyond anything that I ever thought that I would receive,” Beckham told Britain’s PA Media news agency.

Queen Elizabeth II had appointed him an officer of the Order of the British Empire on June 27, 2003.
