Grape Clafoutis

4 tablespoons butter, divided

1 cup milk

¾ cup heavy cream

4 eggs

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon vanilla extract or paste

½ cup granulated sugar

1-pound seedless grapes, halved if very large

powdered sugar, for serving

10-inch Cast iron skillet, for cooking

Preheat your oven to 375˚F. Add half of the butter to the cast iron pan and place in the preheated oven. Melt the remaining butter and place in a blender with the remaining ingredients. Puree until smooth.

Carefully remove the skillet from the oven, add the grapes to the pan then pour in the mixture from the blender over the grapes and bake for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, until soft and golden brown.

Top with powdered sugar before serving.
