Colombia moves forward in Copa America with 27-match unbeaten streak

Colombia beats Panama 5-0 as semifinalist to face either Brazil or Uruguay on Wednesday

Colombia’s national soccer team advanced to the Copa America’s semifinals after a 27-match unbeaten streak.

With 26 games undefeated, Colombia beat Panama 5-0 on a hot Saturday at the State Farm Stadium, in Glendale, Arizona. John Cordoba, James Rodriguez, Luis Diaz, Richard Rios and Miguel Borja scored.

Argentina and Canada face the semifinal at 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Colombia will play the winner of the Brazil vs. Uruguay match at 8 p.m., on Wednesday.

The Copa America match for third place is at 8 p.m., on July 13, and the final is at 8 p.m., on July 14.
