MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins have signed seven of their eight picks from the 2025 NFL Draft, with second-round selection Jonah Savaiinaea the only rookie yet to reach a deal, the team confirmed in a press release Friday.

Savaiinaea, 21, an offensive tackle and guard out of Arizona, was taken with the 37th overall pick after Miami traded up to secure him on April 26.
The Dolphins sent picks 48, 98 and 135 to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for selections 37 and 143. The move made it clear Miami’s front office was prioritizing toughness and depth along the offensive line heading into the 2025 season.
Savaiinaea was the second major investment the Dolphins made in the trenches during the draft.
One day earlier, Miami selected Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant with the 13th overall pick. Grant helped lead the Wolverines to a national championship in 2023 and brings size, strength and experience to Miami’s interior defense.
Along with Grant, the Dolphins signed defensive tackle Jordan Phillips, cornerback Jason Marshall Jr., safety Dante Trader Jr., running back Ollie Gordon II, quarterback Quinn Ewers and defensive tackle Zeek Biggers.
Phillips and Trader Jr. both played at Maryland and bring starting experience to Miami’s defense.
Marshall Jr., a Miami native and former Florida Gator, adds depth in the secondary. Gordon II, a standout at Oklahoma State and 2023 Doak Walker Award winner, offers big-play potential in the backfield.
Ewers, who started three seasons at Texas, could compete for a backup quarterback role.
Biggers adds rotational help on the defensive line after a productive run at Georgia Tech.
The terms of each rookie deal have not been disclosed.
As rookie minicamp approaches, Savaiinaea’s unsigned status will be something to watch.
The Dolphins remain hopeful a deal will be finalized soon, rounding out what appears to be a draft class focused on building strength and depth where it arguably matters most — up front. Click here to read more information on each draft pick.
