Bam Adebayo left off All-NBA defensive teams

MIAMI – The NBA released their All-Defense teams on Thursday.

The Heat’s Bam Adebayo did not make either the first team or second team.

Adebayo received 18 points, 1 first place vote and 16 2nd place votes.

Adebayo had previously been honored.

The two-time Olympic Gold medalist is known for his defensive versatility.

He’s able to guard players 1-5, meaning from point guards to centers.

Adebayo has made it known throughout his career that being Defensive Player of the Year is one of his biggest goals.
