Miami held the 20th overall selection.

When it came time for the Heat to make their pick, Miami selected Kasparas Jakucionis.

The 19-year-old guard played with the University of Illinois last season.

Originally from Lithuania, Jakucionis finished last season averaging 15.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 0.9 steals per game for the Fighting Illini.

He was one rebound away from a triple double during Illinois’ opening round victory over Xavier during this year’s NCAA Tournament.

As of now, this was Miami’s only selection at the draft.

Miami acquired their first round pick from the Golden State Warriors in the Jimmy Butler trade.
