Former NFL star Teddy Bridgewater is the current head coach of the Miami Northwestern High School football team, which won a state title last year.

According to Sports Illustrated, Bridgewater has been suspended by the school.

The suspension stems from an investigation by the Florida High School Athletic Association for allegedly providing unallowed benefits to players, per the report.

In a past online post, Bridgewater wrote that he spent $14,000 on a pre-season camp.

The report also says the state is looking into whether Bridgewater allowed an ineligible player to take the field.

Bridgewater posted on social media Sunday night that there is not an investigation because he is no longer employed.

Bridgewater joined the Miami Northwestern program last year, shortly after his retirement from the NFL.
