MIAMI – The 2025 MLB season has officially reached the All-Star break, and Clayton McCullough’s Miami Marlins have to be feeling pretty good about themselves heading into the four-day pause.

Despite being 10 ½ games out of first place in the National League East and 7 ½ games back of a wild card spot, the Marlins’ win total at the conclusion of the first half is one of the more encouraging surprises of the season.
After managing just 33 wins through 96 games in 2024, the Marlins have improved by 11 wins this season – amid some pitching concerns from right-handers Sandy Alcantara and Cal Quantrill.
June was a month to remember for McCullough’s group, as the team put together an eight-game winning streak and swept a six-game West Coast road trip after opening the month 1-7.
It was the first time in franchise history that the Marlins have swept a road trip of six or more games.
Outfielder Kyle Stowers, who capped the first half on Sunday with three home runs and five hits against his former team, will be Miami’s lone All-Star representative July 15 at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia.
Through 95 games, Stowers leads the club in batting average (.293), home runs (19), runs batted in (54), and on-base percentage (.368).
The Marlins begin the second half of the season with a six-game homestand starting July 18, hosting the Kansas City Royals and San Diego Padres.
