MIAMI — The Miami Heat have signed forward Myron Gardner to a two-way contract, the team announced Friday.
The exact terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Gardner impressed during Summer League play, appearing in four games with two starts — two in the California Classic in San Francisco and two in the NBA2K25 Summer League in Las Vegas.
He averaged 13.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.75 steals, and 1.8 assists per game, while shooting an efficient 50 percent from the field, a team-best 61.5 percent from beyond the arc, and was a perfect 7-of-7 at the free throw line.
He also led the team with 11 steals and scored in double figures in three of the four games.
Last season, Gardner played in 34 regular season G League games for the Osceola Magic, starting 16.
He posted averages of 12.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.24 steals per game over 23.4 minutes, shooting 52.5 percent from the floor.
He helped lead the Magic to a 22-12 record and the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
Gardner had 19 double-digit scoring games, including six with at least 20 points and two 30-point outings.
He notched five games with 10+ rebounds and recorded four double-doubles. On March 22, he logged a season-high seven steals and ended the season with a +63 plus/minus.
The team confirmed that Gardner will wear No. 15.
