MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill took a major slide in this year’s NFL Top 100 Players list.

After finishing No. 1 last year, he dropped 46 spots to No. 47 — a surprising fall, but one that makes sense given his 2024 season.

Hill, 31, finished the year with 959 receiving yards, six touchdowns and 81 catches, which are solid numbers by most standards, but not up to his usual level of production.

Seeing him fall from No. 1 to the middle of the list in just a year is a big drop but it’s not a huge surprise considering that the Dolphins were without quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for part of the season and ended up using four different QBs.

Hill recorded over 1,700 yards and 119 catches in both of his previous seasons.

Hill also claimed that he played through a wrist injury all season, even though he didn’t miss a game. Despite that, he still led Miami in receiving yards and nearly hit the 1,000-yard mark.

Hill tied for the second-most catches (23) and had the fourth-most yards (202) after being in motion at the snap in 2024, according to NFL.com

Since joining the Dolphins in 2022, he’s racked up 797 yards in motion — the most in the league over that stretch. Still, his yardage last season was the second-lowest of his career, and he tied his career low in touchdown catches (6).

Hill also admitted after the season that he’s working on rebuilding his relationship with Tagovailoa, after saying “I’m out” following a tough season-ending loss to the New York Jets.

Hill will now look to get back to the century mark while helping Miami erase a 25-year winless playoff drought, the longest active streak in the NFL.
