Fort Lauderdale United FC set to kick off new season, with all matches airing live on Local 10

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Professional women’s soccer is getting ready to make its return to South Florida as Fort Lauderdale United FC opens its highly anticipated 2025–26 USL Super League season on Aug. 23.

The club will take the field at 7:30 p.m. ET against Lexington SC at Beyond Bancard Field in Davie, marking the official start of a 28-match season that will span from August through next May.

All matches — home and away — will air live on WPLG Local 10, the exclusive broadcast partner of Fort Lauderdale United FC.

Each broadcast will feature exclusive content including player interviews, game-day coverage and behind-the-scenes access throughout the season.

2025–26 Season Structure

  • Fall- Winter Schedule: Aug. 23 – Dec. 20
  • Winter Break: Late December – late January
  • Spring Schedule: Jan. 31 – May 16, 2026
  • Playoffs: Top four teams advance to postseason beginning May 23
  • Championship Final: Tentatively scheduled for the weekend of May 30

Fort Lauderdale United FC will play 14 home and 14 away matches in the regular season. All games will be televised locally and streamed online.
