DETROIT — Miami Dolphins EDGE Chop Robinson was carted off the field during Wednesday’s joint practice with the Detroit Lions after suffering an undisclosed injury.
Defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver and fellow pass rusher Jaelan Phillips were seen checking on Robinson before medical staff arrived, according to the Palm Beach Post.
However, the team appeared to have dodged a bullet after Robinson posted, “I’m good, yall. Nothing serious” on his Instagram account Wednesday.
An injury would’ve been another blow to a Dolphins pass rush that has struggled with health over the last few seasons.
Linebacker Bradley Chubb missed all of last season due to a knee injury, and Phillips suffered both an ACL tear and a torn Achilles in back-to-back previous seasons.
Robinson, 22, a former first round pick, had a slow start but surged late in the season with six sacks over the final 10 games, earning a fifth-place finish in Defensive Rookie of the Year voting.
Cornerbacks Artie Burns and Kader Kohou will miss the 2025-2026 season due to ACL injuries that the pair sustained in training camp.
