MIAMI — Local 10 and the Miami Heat announced Monday that they have agreed to a multifaceted partnership, resulting in WPLG being the local home of select Heat games and additional team programming.

Local 10 will broadcast 12 2025-26 regular season Heat games, as well as up to 12 regular season games of the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Miami Heat’s NBA G League team.

In addition, the Miami Heat and Local 10 will team up for community service projects and special programming opportunities both during the season and offseason.

“We are thrilled to strengthen our relationship with the Miami Heat organization. In doing so, it represents a partnership that will allow South Floridians to enjoy their favorite hometown team completely for free on WPLG Local 10,” said WPLG President & CEO Bert Medina.

“This relationship with WPLG Local 10 will enable more Heat fans to watch our games and enjoy additional Heat programming, all for free,” said Michael McCullough, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of the Miami Heat. “The strong combination of WPLG Local 10 and FanDuel Sports Network means more options for Miami Heat fans to follow their team.”
