SUNRISE, Fla. — Florida Panthers fans watching from outside Amerant Bank Arena were nervous all night as the team played Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals against the Edmonton Oilers.
They counted down as the clock ran out and celebrated a hard-fought victory, as the team took home its first Stanley Cup.
“We got the cup!” they shouted live on Local 10 News.
In Miami-Dade County, fans brought out the pots and pans to celebrate the big win.
Local 10 was outside the La Carreta in Westchester where fans were celebrating.
